Hello to everyone  that stops by to take a look at my work. I hope you enjoy my gallery and perhaps even see something that you'd like hanging on the walls in your own home.

My name is Barry King and I reside in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

I was born and raised here. I've been an artist for 50 years. I've had a few exhibits of my work, but that was long ago and I didn't have the amount of work that I do now. So, with a lot of free time on my hands now I'm devoting all of my time and efforts to promoting my art...and hopefully soon my writing.

Most of my life, although not much anymore, I worked in the traditional style of oils, watercolours, acrylics, etc.

But over a year ago I discovered a wonderful tool called the Wacom tablet, and ever since I've been creating so much work using that. I've spent a year developing a new and unique style that I call, ' Curvilinear Art ™ by Barry King ™

The Wacom comes in very handy for me for those times when I can't stand or sit at an easel. I've sold some pieces in the past, but certaintly not enough to live off of.

I'm 'all' business now with my art and feel like this is just the beginning, that new opportunities await me, doors will open up for me...and it's very exciting.

I've been doing this for a long time with breaks of months and years in between with family, jobs...and life in general. I'm a disabled man in my 50's, I've been in multiple car accidents, and two major back operations, the last one which was a failed operation, which  is due in part to my disability. I'm a human right's activist and always seem to be fighting for a cause or an injustice, and fighting for changes a great deal. Back in the 80's I played a part in bringing  down a major corporation due to health and safety issues. Workers were getting sick and dying at my plant and other plants in The United States and Mexico, from 'Hard Metals Disease'....they eventually closed down the plant and constructed a new and safer multi million dollar plant that was safe for all employees. I also support Amnesty international, animal rights and welfare.  I'm working on an autobiography as well as several other writing projects, as well as my art - always.

Also, I have a great interest in photography and am just starting out. Now I have an Olympus E 510 that I'm trying to get used to using and anxiously await taking some great shots and learning along the way.

I graduated from the school of hard knocks, like many other people I suppose.

But I've learned to deal with the cards that were dealt to me and life is simply grand and beautiful, and I invite you into my life and world through my digital art.

Thanks for dropping in, I really appreciate you taking the time to have a look around, I hope you enjoy my work.
